Erika Huddle, MA
Erika Huddle has been an educator since 2000. She was born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii then attended college at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Next, Erika joined the Peace Corps in Guinea, West Africa. Upon her return, Erika was accepted at Columbia University, Teachers College where she received a masters with an emphasis in Autism and Mental Retardation. For many years Erika has taught at a local elementary school where she was named teacher of the year and is now a state trainer to teach teachers the latest methods in improving reading performance. During the summer months Erika directs the Open Doors Camp for children with Autism. Erika is an avid reader, lover of music, yoga enthusiast and an aspiring runner.
